I thought soldiers were underused, and I never personally used them myself, so I didn't come upon this problem. Is there a way for them to manually target buildings?

LOL well at least the Windows 8 version is fine.
I may have cancer, alzheimers' and lack limbs, but at least this chair is comfortable.
So, wait. Your government has a large: "Act like a spoiled brat" button they can press at any time, damaging the entire nation's economy because one of the parties doesn't want a law/something to pass?

Got a couple of bugs to add:

-One of my planets said it could could support 6 population, but it kept running out of atmosphere at that level, long after my trees were done growing.

-I put 12 guys on a planet with a cap of 3, which should be enough to get the Overcrowding achievement. For some reason, it didn't work.

-A major saving bug cropped up when I loaded my game. All but one of my colonized planets were completely gone, and the planet that was left had only one building left on it. Furthermore, both of my resources were set to 10000. I also noticed that when I saved that game, it seemed to finish saving very quickly, much faster than normal. My theory is that it simply didn't save everything.

Edit: Turns out I mistook the save for another one, but a different bug was revealed. After I saved my game, it didn't show up in the load menu until after I quit and restarted the game.
